Instagram Video Edits

Time is of the essence.  Constantly bombarded by digital communications such as work emails, personal emails, text messages, Facebook posts, Tweets, Snap Chats, Instagrams and phone calls we have limited time throughout the day to dive deep into each digital notification.

More companies & brands are starting to post "mini-trailers" on Instagram, Vine or Facebook that are only a few seconds long instead of a few minutes long.  The goal is to engage those "would be viewers" that do not have time to watch a full 3 minute long trailer, but may have 15 seconds to spare.  Below are three short edits I have created for Instagram.

Starting from Left to Right: 1). Promo for Run Boston Run Video 2). Voting Promo for Holiday Valley Ski Resort 3). Promo for Jackson Hole Dreaming Ski Edit

The Power Of Twitter & The Global Brand of Red Bull

Red Bull promoted a video I created, titled "Red Bull Round Up: 2012 - A Year to Remember." It was obviously a huge honor to have Red Bull promote the video, but what I found most interesting is where people were watching the video. Thanks to Vimeo's video analytics program, I was able to see every country the video was viewed in.

Within one month (as of 2-1-13) the video has been watched in 105 countries around the globe.

This statistic speaks volumes for the power of Twitter, and the fact that Red Bull has truly become a global brand. A snapshot of the analytics for the video can seen below:

Red Bull Roundup: 2012 - A Year to Remember

2012 was a record setting year for Red Bull, Red Bull Media House, and Red Bull Athletes around the world. This video is a tribute to their success in 2012. Red Bull posted the video and tweeted it to their 850,000+ followers:

About Red Bull

Red Bull is a global energy drink brand that has become synonymous with extreme sports and pushing the limits of human performance. Since its founding in Austria in 1987, Red Bull has built a reputation for supporting athletes who are willing to take risks and push themselves to new heights.

Red Bull's Support of Athletes

One of the ways that Red Bull supports athletes is through its extensive sponsorship program. The brand sponsors athletes in a variety of sports, including snowboarding, skiing, motocross, surfing, and skateboarding, among others. Through these sponsorships, Red Bull provides financial support to athletes, as well as access to training facilities, coaching, and other resources.

But Red Bull's support of athletes goes beyond just financial support. The brand also helps athletes to develop their skills and reach their full potential through its athlete development programs. These programs include workshops and training camps, where athletes can work on specific skills and techniques, as well as mentoring and coaching from experienced professionals.

In addition to its athlete development programs, Red Bull also provides a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and accomplishments. The brand sponsors a number of high-profile events, including the Red Bull X-Fighters freestyle motocross competition, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, and the Red Bull Air Race, among others. These events not only provide athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level, but also give them a platform to showcase their skills to a global audience.

Felix Baumgartner's Jump from Space

One of the most iconic examples of Red Bull's support of extreme athletes is Felix Baumgartner's historic jump from the edge of space in 2012. Baumgartner, an Austrian skydiver and base jumper, teamed up with Red Bull to attempt a record-breaking jump from the stratosphere.

On October 14, 2012, Baumgartner ascended to an altitude of 128,100 feet (39,045 meters) in a helium balloon. He then stepped out of the capsule and freefell back to Earth, breaking the sound barrier and reaching a top speed of 843.6 miles per hour (1,357.6 kilometers per hour). Baumgartner's jump set multiple records, including the highest jump from a platform, the longest freefall, and the highest manned balloon flight.

Red Bull played a crucial role in making Baumgartner's jump a reality. The brand provided financial and technical support, as well as a platform to showcase the event to a global audience. Red Bull also helped to develop the technology used in the jump, including Baumgartner's specialized space suit and parachute.

Conclusion

Red Bull's support of extreme athletes has helped to push the boundaries of human performance and inspire people around the world. Through its sponsorship programs, athlete development programs, and high-profile events, Red Bull has become a key player in the world of extreme sports. And with iconic feats like Felix Baumgartner's jump from space, Red Bull has cemented its reputation as a brand that is willing to take risks and push the limits of what is possible.

Grind For Life's ultimate goal is to have a couple of apartments near Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, so people who are receiving treatment at the hospital can have their family near them. 2009 NHL Winter Classic

I assisted with filming of the 2009 NHL Winter Classic documentary. Take a look at the trailer for the 2009 Winter Classic DVD below:

After watching the dvd I was excited to see my name, Scott Goergen, in the same paragraph as Gary Betman, Stan Mikita, Bobby Hall, Tony Esposito, Denis Savard, and Bob Costas. I did not nearly contribute as much as they did, but still, pretty cool. I took a snapshot of the credits, along with the dvd packaging below:
